Mob Attacks Muslims’ Homes and Mosques in Bihar

An enraged mob attacked several Muslim houses as well as mosques at the Parihar police station in the Sitamarhi district of Bihar.

The altercation stated after the use of loudspeakers in the area, according to a statement posted by the Sithamarhi police on its official Twitter account.

The cops were also attacked when they attempted to control the situation. Subodh Kumar, a deputy superintendent of police, and Dayashankar Sah, an assistant sub-inspector, were injured. Later, the policemen admitted the injured to the nearby local hospital.

After the mob assault, police officers and the district magistrate were sent out to prevent further violence. “Police have made 49 arrests based on video footage gathered from the crime scene. The situation is under control,”  The police statement said.

The police  urged the general public to avoid sharing fake new and videos. Currently, no loss of life has been reported.
