Zionist Channel 14 reported that a number of high-ranking officials in the army’s Information Unit have resigned, indicating that a significant number of officials in the army’s spokesperson department under the name of Daniel Hagari have retired.

Among the resignations are Richard Hecht, the army’s spokesperson. It has not been officially announced how many officials have left the unit. 

The channel explained that the collective resignations were the result of officers protesting against operational and personal matters, “reflecting a state of turmoil” in the information department managed by Hagari, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.
